Amalfi Coast is a beautiful place for a beach vacation. Capri, Positano, and Pompeii are a few places you can visit during your time here.

Capri:

The island is breathtaking. There's a bunch of little shops and cafes all around the island. Then we rode this, where it took us farther up the island.

Once we made our stop we walked around sipping Limoncello. We asked one of the tour guides some suggestions of what to do. She mentioned riding a chair lift where you see the entire island.

Tip: Make sure you buy 2 tickets to go to the chair lift or else you won't have a way back to return to the bottom of the island.

The view on the chair lift was breath taking.

Half way through the chair lift, we stopped at the top of the island. You get a gorgeous view of the city.

Then we made our way to the boat tour! This was my favorite part of the entire trip. We even got to cool off in the water.

Positano:

This is a great town of beautiful views and a great beach. If you love seafood, this is a great spot to try.

The town reminded me of a fairy tale. There were flowers and vines all over the walls and adorable boutiques overlooking the beach.

We spent most of the day shopping and relaxing.

Pompeii:

We went up to Mt. Vesuvius to hike along the volcano. As soon as we entered the park, it started to down pour. The storm was too dangerous to hike so we headed to Pompeii.

Fun Fact: This volcano is the third most dangerous volcano. Don't worry, it's not going to explode for another 500 years.

After lunch we stopped at a jewelry store where they handmade all of their jewelry. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Once I was done looking at jewelry, I made my way to the guided tour. During the tour we learned interesting facts about the city, such as it's been there since BC times. We saw where the Gladiators practiced, who lived here, and the brothels. This is NOT a trip for children.

If you're a history nerd like me, this place is a must see.

This was one of the best trips of my life and I hope someday you can experience Amalfi Coast too.
