Universal Studios: Slytherin Edition

Going to Universal Studios is one of the best places to go if you're a Harry Potter fan. If you're a Slytherin, it's even better. There are certain areas you can check out that cater to Slytherins.

When I first took the House quiz on the Pottormore website, I was shocked to find out I was in Slytherin. I was in so much denial (typical Slytherin trait) I retook the test at least 10 times. Now I've accepted the house I'm in.

Diagon Alley:

The place where it all began. This is one of the best picture spots, especially with the dragon on top of Gringotts bank. The dragon breaths fire every 5 minutes. Here you can also see Olivanders Wand shop (they sell interactive wands you can use to cast spells throughout Diagon Alley), Leaky Couldron, and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop.

This is a great spot to start as a Slytherin, especially getting a picture with the dragon.

Nagini:

Are you really a Slytherin if you don't see Nagini? You can find her at the Magical Menagerie shop in the window. It is said you can hear her speak parseletongue.

Knockturn Alley:

The place where most of the Slytherins hangout. When you first enter the park you'll find a sign on the left that points to Knockturn Alley. It's easy to miss, but it's worth finding. Here you'll find Death Eater masks, Borge and Burkes, Dark Art items and more.

Defense the Dark Arts Room:

The infamous room where each professor only lasted a year. Here you can find this room while waiting in line for the Forbidden Journey. Above you can see the dragon skeleton and the professors office.

Sorting Hat Castle Show:

At night the park puts on a night show at the castle. This show has special effects and tells the characteristics all of the houses. The music and tone of the Slytherin house is completely different than the rest of the houses.

From Knockturn alley to Nagini, there are plenty of Slytherin things to see at Universal Studios. No matter what house you're in, I hope you enjoy the park from a Slytherin point of view.

P.S. Don't forget to enjoy a Butterbeer :)
