Switzerland: Interlaken, Grindelwald, Bern

Switzerland is a beautiful country with many sites to see. The towns Interlaken, Grindelwald and Bern are some of the places you can visit. Below are a few things you can do at each place.
Interlaken:
Paragliding:
If you're an adrenaline junkie, this is one of the best activities in Interlaken. It's not as intense as skydiving but the thrill is still there. The company picked us up at the Hostel and drove us to their office. We put away our valuable items, such as phones, and changed shoes. Then we took a car ride up the mountain to where we would paraglide. The drive up was breathtaking.

When we reached the top, we put on our paragliding gear and ran off the mountain to catch air.
Paragliding was one of the best experiences of my life, you feel like you're flying.
Paragliding lasts about 15 minutes. During paragliding they take a small camera to take pictures and videos. It's about 50 CHF extra, but it's worth every penny.
Grindelwald:
Grindelwald is a village known for their skiing and hiking. If you don't like to do either of those things, there is places to shop as well. The train ride to Grindelwald is about a half hour from Interlaken. The train system is easy to use but expensive.

Interlaken:
Then town Interlaken is between two lakes, Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Each lake has stunning views, perfect place to take pictures and relax.
Try the Fondue:
Switzerland is known for their fondue. Fondue is a Swiss melted cheese served in a pot over a candle. You can dip bread and cheese in the fondue. It doesn't sound like much, but it is a filling meal.
Bern:
Bern is the capital of Switzerland. Here you can shop, dine, and even visit Albert Einstein's old house.
*Tip: Try not to go on a Sunday since the majority of their stores will be closed.

A rookie mistake is going to Switzlerand and not trying the chocolate. Any bakery will have delicious chocolates.
Switzerland is a beautiful country with breathtaking views. You can do thrilling activities such as skydiving, or take in the views. I hope you enjoy this country as much as I did.
